There are two Roku developers that have contributed numerous FREE private channels (codes are in our database):
TheEndless (Sirus|XM, TV.com, Justin.tv, HGTV, FoodNetwork, OnionNews, and more)
TheNowhereMan (Nowhere TV, FunnyOrDie, CNN, Ustream.tv, NasaTV, Archive.org, and more)
HOW to add a Roku Private Channel:
- Login or create account at Roku. https://owner.roku.com/Add
- Select the icon of the private channel you want in our database. You will be redirected to the Roku add channel website. Or, manually input the listed private code of the channel.
“Channels typically will show up on your Roku player within 24 hours. To access your new channel now, you can refresh your channel lineup by entering and exiting the Roku Channel Store on your Roku player” – Roku.
I find by exiting and returning to Channel Store the new channel is immediately available in MY CHANNELS of Channel Store.
HOW to remove a Roku Private Channel:
(Seriously … not as obvious as one would think)
Option1:
- Enter Channel Store –> My Channels (top row) –> Select channel to be removed
- Select the remove channel option –> done!
Option2: (if you have new 12 button remote with * )
- Go to the channel on the main menu (don’t click it! , and hit the star (*) button).
- It’ll give you the option to delete.
